We warmly welcome all new patients at Gympie Southside Dental (previously Southside Smiles). We suggest you allow one hour for your initial consultation.

During your initial appointment, our dentists will conduct a thorough oral health examination of your bite, your gums, your tooth structure and your smile. We evaluate your chewing function and smile through photos of your teeth and new x-rays if necessary. Any concerns you have will be listened to and acted upon if required.

If you have any previous dental x-rays or treatment plans please feel free to bring these along.

At this time we may schedule a complimentary follow-up visit. At this visit, we will discuss your treatment needs and provide you with a written treatment plan outlining options, fee estimates and priorities.

At your first visit, you will be asked to complete a medical/dental questionnaire. Information in the questionnaire will be kept in strictest confidence but helps us greatly in our care for you.
